Police: A man stole $44,000 from ATMs using counterfeit credit and debit cards.

A First Horizon Bank investigator notified local, state, and federal authorities of “cash-outs” at ATMs in Nashville and Brentwood, which sparked the inquiry. According to the police, a “cash-out” is when someone uses counterfeit credit cards to withdraw money. Police claim to have located a car used in one of the cash transactions at Nashville International Airport’s rental car agency.
